WELCOME 2025 RIVER RATZ SWIMMERS & FAMILIES
Welcome to the 2025 GPSA swim season, new and returning River Ratz swimmers and families! We are excited about a summer filled with fun at the pool!
We are pleased to welcome back our coaching team: Coach Ann Chappell Ellington, Lilly Krikorian, and David Ellington!
Ann Chappell is currently a junior at James Madison University, where she is a member of the swim and dive program. Before attending JMU, Ann swam for Menchville High School in Newport News, Virginia, and she has fond memories as a River Rat during her childhood.
Lilly Krikorian has just completed her freshman year at the University of Virginia. A former River Rat and Menchville Monarch swimmer, Lilly also played field hockey at Menchville High School.
David Ellington just finished his senior year at Menchville High School, where he competed on the swim team. This season, David will be coaching and competing alongside the team!
We are also excited to welcome our new head coach, Caitlyn Kiss! With over nine years of coaching experience with swimmers of all ages and skill levels, she is eager to share her passion for swimming with our team. As a competitive swimmer who competed at the YMCA, in high school, and at the Division Three level, Coach Caitlyn understands the dedication and hard work required to succeed in the pool. Whether your swimmer is joining the team for the first time or aiming to compete at a higher level, she is committed to helping our team reach their goals and realize their full potential.
